Your listing stays in your browser.
ListingGap is a free, local-only Chrome extension. It has no account, no backend, no analytics, and no remote AI service. The listing and review text you audit is processed on your device.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
There is nothing to sign up for and no license key to install.
Every audit is computed by code shipped inside the extension.
Clear saved audits at any time, or remove everything by uninstalling.
What the extension reads
When you click Audit on an Amazon product page, ListingGap reads the page you already have open. That includes the title, bullets, description, price, rating, review count, image count, A+ presence, Q&A count, Amazon’s “Customers say” summary, and any visible review text.
To find complaints that Amazon does not show on the product page, the extension may request review pages for the same ASIN directly from Amazon. Those requests go to Amazon, using your existing browser session, not to a ListingGap server. ListingGap does not operate a server.
What is stored
Up to 20 recent audits, your settings, and any reviews you paste or import are stored with
chrome.storage.local on this device. They are not synced to your Google account and are not sent
to us. Use Clear local history in Settings to delete saved audits. Uninstalling the extension
removes its local storage.

Clipboard and third-party tools
Copy buttons write text to your clipboard only when you click them. The optional Copy AI prompt button prepares a prompt locally; ListingGap never sends it anywhere. If you paste that prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, or another service, that service’s privacy policy and terms apply.
No remote code, no tracking
All analysis code is included in the extension package. ListingGap does not load remote scripts, inject advertising, use analytics SDKs, or build a profile of you. It does not use cookies for tracking.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Questions about privacy can be sent through the Support tab of the Chrome Web Store listing or through GitHub Issues.
